Chapter Summary

The author's address in London was '2 Mary Adelaide Close' for four and a half years, when she were living there more than twenty years ago. The house was near Wimbledon, a familiar name to Japanese people. The location of the house was thirty minutes by car both from the office in town and from the airport for her husband who worked for an airline company. This was the decisive factor in making the choice of the house. She looked at that house filled with fond memories when she revisited London five years ago. No one from those days including Hala, was living there anymore. She did not feel any emotion at the sight of the house due to the very fact that her husband and children were not there with her. She wanted to come and visit the house again with her family.
