Chapter Summary

This chapter contains a list of rules established by International Court of Justice during 1978-2005. The Members of the Court are the judges elected in accordance with Articles 2 to 15 of the Statute. Only judges, and the assessors, if any, take part in the Court's judicial deliberations. The Registrar, or his deputy, and other members of the staff of the Registry as may be required shall be present. No other person shall be present except by permission of the Court. In the exercise of its advisory functions under Article 65 of the Statute, the Court shall apply, in addition to the provisions of Article 96 of the Charter and Chapter IV of the Statute, the provisions of the present Part of the Rules.
