Chapter Summary

This chapter talks about the Article 15 of the statute of the special court of Sierra Leone (SCSL). The Article 15 deals with the Prosecutor. The chapter discusses three cases and their trial chambers decisions. The first case is of Prosecutor v. Sesay, Kallon, Gbao for the decision on prosecution request for leave to amend the indictment, 6 May 2004. The second case is of Prosecutor v. Sesay for the decision on sesay motion seeking disclosure of the relationship between governmental agencies of the United States of America and the office of the prosecutor, 2 May 2005. The third case is of Prosecutor v. Brima, Kamara, Kanu for the decision on prosecution request for leave to call an additional witness pursuant to Rule 73bis(E), and on joint defence notice to inform the trial chamber of its position vis-à-vis the proposed expert witness pursuant to Rule 94bis, 5 August 2005.
