This chapter talks about the rule 65 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the statute of the Special Court of Sierra Leone. It discusses several cases and their trial chambers decisions. The first case is Prosecutor v. Fofana, Decision on Application for Bail Pursuant to Rule 65, 5 August 2004. Bail, or provisional release, has been the subject matter of many decisions before both ad hoc International Tribunals and of one decision from the Special Court.
