II.8. First Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Reduction of Cases of Multiple Nationality

Chapter Summary

This chapter presents the first additional protocol to the convention on the reduction of cases of multiple nationality. Any Contracting Party on signature or on depositing its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession shall indicate by means of a declaration addressed to the Secretary General of the Council of Europe the central authority which has been designated to receive this transmission. As regards any Contracting Party to the Convention who shall subsequently sign this Protocol without reservation in respect of ratification, acceptance or approval, or who shall ratify, accept or approve it, this Protocol shall enter into force one month after the date of such signature or after the date of deposit of the instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval.
