III.5. Protocol Relating to Refugee Seamen

Chapter Summary

This chapter presents the Protocol relating to refugee seamen. Any dispute between the Contracting Parties to the present Protocol relating to the interpretation or application of any of its provisions which cannot be settled by other means shall be referred to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) at the request of any one of the parties to the dispute. A Contracting Party may denounce the present Protocol at any time by a notification addressed to the government of the kingdom of the Netherlands. The denunciation shall take effect one year from the date upon which the notification was received by the government of the kingdom of the Netherlands.
