This index presents a list of terms and concepts relevant to the study on issue of futures trading and derivatives from Islamic perspective. The study summarizes the main points of the Academy's resolution and point out its shortcomings. The Academy acknowledges the benefits of forward and futures trading. Besides the institutional discussions, several individual works also addressed the issue of futures trading and derivatives. There are several institutional as well as individual studies addressing the legality of options contracts in a similar line to that adopted in forward and futures contracts.
