Chapter Summary

There is a critical line 4 near to the left of the margin from lines between columns I and II that appears to function as the right margin for the lines 1-15. The text of this column begins actually only with line 4. Only the right wedge of/h/ is preserved. While damaged, the left half of word divider is stll visible. There is no wedge that points on the tablet. The bicolon, with the possible anacrusis is discussed at 1.13. For this instance, the summing and counts are given assuming anacrusis. The discrepancy in line length might suggest the possibility that the verb plus opening particle stands as anacruisis yielding more balanced counts. In either case, the bilabials are resonant in this unit. The lines here are finely balanced and semantically coordinated.

Keywords: /h/; anacruisis; bicolon; biloabials; CAT 1.4.1; column; divider; semantically; wedge
