This chapter of the book International Review of Biblical Studies: Internationale Zeitschriftenschau für Bibelwissenschaft und Grenzgebiete Revue Internationale des Études Bibliques presents authors and themes of the books and articles related to arts, literature, film and music that echo, depict, or develop the relevant biblical passage. The abstracts may be in English, German, or French. The articles and books that are abstracted and reviewed are collected annually by an international team of collaborators from over 300 of the most important periodicals and book series in the fields covered. Some of the books and articles covered here include: 'Illuminating' and 'Illuminated' Light: A Biblical- Theological Interpretation of God-as-Light in Canto XXXIII of Dante's Paradiso; Christ's Temptations in the Wilderness (Milton and Dostoyevsky); The Bible in Western Culture: The Student's Guide; and Bilder des Himmels: Die Geschichte des Jenseits von der Bibel bis zur Gegenwart.
