Chapter Summary

This section contains a list of Chinese statutes. The Chinese regulatory framework governing the right to leave and return (RLR) includes Chinese migration law, the Constitution, administrative law, and administrative procedural law and foreign exchange law. The Chinese government has not yet promulgated statutes that use the terms ‘migration’, ‘immigration’ or ‘emigration’. To better understand Chinese statutes, besides the English and Chinese title of Chinese statutes, the author gives the promulgation bodies, promulgation date and effective date.
