Chapter Summary

This index presents a list of ancient author names that are mentioned in the book Theology of Ministry: A Reformed Contribution to an Ecumenical Dialogue. Currently an academic study about ministry in the Reformed tradition is a rather unexpected phenomenon. Such a topic appears to have too much of an intra-church character. Today other matters determine the theological and ecclesiological agenda. In particular, the declining relevance of the church within contemporary European culture affects academia as well as the churches. The development within the Roman Catholic Church has been even more profiled over the past 50 years.

Keywords: European culture; Roman Catholic Church
