Chapter Summary

This bibliography section of the book Ibn Taymiyya's Theodicy of Perpetual Optimism contains Ibn Taymiyya's writings, collected works with abbreviations, Ibn Taymiyya's treatises with short titles and other arabic and western language sources. The book provides a plausible and reasonably well substantiated ethical and theological horizon against which to interpret Ibn Taymiyya's theodicy. It also leads the author to observe that his approach to theological questions is that of a jurist seeking the correct way to speak about God.
