Chapter Summary

This chapter is a part of the 119 works from the corpus of the Latin dialogues of the Middle Ages presented in this book Lateinische Dialoge 1200-1400. It presents the title, incipit and explicit as well as information on author, date, textual transmission, editions and a summary of the contents. The dialogue is between a Zelator paupertatis and an inimicus domesticus paupertatis. From the descriptions and from the content it is clear that there are two brothers, who present different views on poverty. In part, the exchange is lively; sometimes there are also extended speeches. The original text of the chapter is in German.
