This sections presents abbreviations, books and articles relevant to the discussion on Andronovo and Timber-grave cultures, which were genetically affiliated. The Timber-grave and Andronovo tribes of the Alakul' type emerged in the late second and third quarters of the 2nd millennium BC in the Urals and western Kazakhstan, while the Fedorovo type tribes emerged in central and eastern Kazakhstan. The sites of the steppe population are united under the terms Andronovo and Tazabagyab-Andronovo.
