This bibliography presents a list of reference articles and books relevant to the analysis of Egyptian and Greek corpus, and the status of Demotic and Greek in the Hellenistic and Roman periods. The imagery in demotic and Greek proverbs, tones of demotic and Greek proverbs, figure of speech in demotic and Greek proverbs, vovobulary of demotic and Greek proverbs and sematic parallels in demotic and Greek proverbs are further analysed. The similarities and differences observed between the Egyptian and Greek proverbs are explained in cultural terms.
