This appendix section contains three maps showing the position of South Tyrol in Europe, population distribution of German, Italian and Ladin Speakers in 2001, and the position of the Ladin valleys, respectively. It then presents a chart containing details about resident population by language group according to the population censuses from 1880 to 2001. Figures illustrating composition of the population of South Tyrol according to the census are then provided. The section also contains a chart that contains information about declarations of which language group belong to/affiliated to population census 2001?South Tyrol. It then describes the national and provincial-local civil servants in South Tyrol during the period of 1961, 1984, and 2004. Finally, it provides information about the political parties, elections, institutions and procedures of South Tyrol.
