Chapter Summary

This section of the book The New Testament in Greek IV The Gospel According to St. John presents the heading "Plates". It has no content. The decision to break up the task of compiling an edition of the Gospel of John in stages has proved to be of even greater benefit than the editors had anticipated, since it has allowed us to make full use of developments in editorial methods and tools. The book contains complete transcriptions of all Categories, those which are fragmentary and difficult to read. It is important to recognise the significance of the transition to the electronic edition. The single most important characteristic is the change from collation to transcription.
