This chapter presents biographies of writers, authors and publishers of the book. The book focuses on migration, elite, and confession in early modern history. It describes the role of Protestant, Lutheran and reformed minister in the central European migrations of the 17th and early 18th century. These great emigrations won their dynamics directly or indirectly from the re-catholisation Habsburg territories. Many paradigms have been developed for German history that can be productively applied to the interpretation of the situation in Sweden. The original text of the chapter is in German.
