This appendix section deals with the convention relating to the status of refugees (189 UNTS 150). The convention is adopted on 28 July 1951 by the United Nations Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the status of refugees and stateless persons convened under general assembly resolution 429 (V) of 14 December 1950. The Contracting States shall apply the provisions of this Convention to refugees without discrimination as to race, religion or country of origin. The section also contains articles relevant to juridical status, gainful employment, welfare, administrative measures, executory and transitory provisions, and final clauses.
