Chapter Summary

This chapter begins about two books, on one book are the names of the inhabitants of Paradise and other book are the names of the inhabitants of Hell-fire". A detailed explanation concerning each letter's seven parts and their relation to the Prophet, this time in the sequence: Adamhood, contraction, expansion, prophethood, the spirit, science and apostleship. Each letter of the Arabic alphabet possesses one of the previously explained forty-nine parts, as does each of the litterae productions which can be lengthened up to six degrees. Nine important matters that al-Dabbāgh mentioned, to which the author draws special attention. An accommodation of the Shaykh's interpretation with explanations given in hadīths that treat this subject. The hadīths that deal with true dream, and how many parts of prophethood they say the true dream contains.
