The development of international rules is one of the main functions of UNESCO. This chapter is a part of the first part of this volume, which features the conventions and agreements adopted by the General Conference or by intergovernmental conferences convened by UNESCO alone or jointly with other organisms International. The chapter presents the protocol annexed to the Universal Copyright Convention adopted by the Intergovernmental Copyright Conference convened by UNESCO. This protocol concerns the application of that Convention to the works of certain international organizations.
