Chapter Summary

This section contains a list of reference articles and books relevant to the discussion of Bible and poverty in Kenya. The use of biblical narratives in Kenya to galvanize the population to demand a state/society policy that is conducive to the needs of the common people is a long-standing practice. During the anti-colonial struggle as well as in the recent democratization process in Kenya passages from the Bible were utilized to express political discontent.
