This chapter of the book International Review of Biblical Studies, Volume 53: Internationale Zeitschriftenschau für Bibelwissenschaft und Grenzgebiete Revue Internationale des Études Bibliques presents text versions of New Testament exegesis. The abstracts, which may be in English, German, or French, are arranged thematically under the following headings: Gospels and Acts of the Apostles and Letters and Book of Revelation. The articles and books that are abstracted and reviewed are collected annually by an international team of collaborators from over 300 of the most important periodicals and book series in the fields covered. Some of the books and articles covered in the chapter include: New Testament Commentary Survey; Jesus and the Eyewitnesses: The Gospels as Eyewitness Testimony; The gospel myth of Christian origins, and Revelation, Empire and the Violence of God.
