This chapter of the book International Review of Biblical Studies, Volume 53: Internationale Zeitschriftenschau für Bibelwissenschaft und Grenzgebiete Revue Internationale des Études Bibliques presents the summaries of the works of various authors related to philology. The abstracts, which may be in English, German, or French, are arranged thematically under the following headings: lexicography and Hebrew names, syntax, and verb-tenses/aspects in Hebrew. The articles and books that are abstracted and reviewed are collected annually by an international team of collaborators from over 300 of the most important periodicals and book series in the fields covered. Some of the books and articles covered in the chapter include: The Introduction to Biblical Hebrew: The Practical Way; The Study of Ancient Hebrew Lexicon; Lexical Meaning in Biblical Hebrew and Cognitive Semantics: a Case Study; and Reflexions on an Important Study on the Nominal Clause in Biblical Hebrew.
