Chapter Summary

This chapter commences with the Treaty on Cultural and Intellectual Relations between the Netherlands and Belgium, signed at The Hague on 16 May 1946. It was signed by contracting parties who were equally desirous of extending and adapting to existing circumstances the agreement between the two countries of 26 October 1927, regarding their intellectual relations. Next, the chapter discusses the provisions agreed upon by the Austrian and Italian Governments on September 5, 1946 (Gruber-De Gasperi Agreement), signed at Paris on 5 September 1946. The chapter also presents articles from several other treaties, including additional protocol to the Treaty of Friendship and Mutual Aid between the Republic of Poland and the Czechoslovak Republic, signed at Warsaw on 10 March 1947; and Cultural Agreement between Greece and Turkey, signed at Ankara on 20 April 1951.
