Chapter Summary

This appendix lists Johann Jacob Brucker?s citations from Giordano Bruno?s own works and from three letters on Bruno and his philosophy. The appendix covers citations from Brucker, Historia critica philosophiae (HCP), vol. 5, pp. 9?62, and vol. 6, pp. 807?816. By ?citation? is meant what Brucker has marked either with italics or quotation marks, even though some of the citations are paraphrases rather than citations, and even though Brucker sometimes changes the meaning of the cited text. The information in brackets refers to Brucker?s indication of sources in his own notes in HCP; the information in sharp brackets is by the author.

Keywords: Giordano Bruno; Historia critica philosophiae (HCP); Johann Jacob Brucker
