Chapter Summary

This chapter presents a letter written by Reinoud Oosting to Louis Jonker. According to Reinoud, two aspects of the word 'integrity' play a crucial role in Louis's perspective on the liminal space of a multidimensional approach. On the one hand, all kinds of methods are invited and, on the other, interaction between representatives of these methods is possible by showing vulnerability. Subsequently, Reinoud presents three remarks about Louis's paper Living in Different Worlds Simultaneously. Or: A Plea for Contextual Integrity" at the Stellenbosch conference. Reinoud concludes by stating that Louis's paper focuses too much on the attitude of the exegete towards the text of the bible, instead of concentrating on the text itself.
