Chapter Summary

This chapter offers these three notes as a token of the author's appreciation of and affection for Klaas Worp. The first presents a new text from a dossier that Worp and the author published over a decade ago, while the second and third are put forward in recognition of Worp's significant contributions to the understanding of the fiscal and chronological systems of late antique Egypt. The first is an ostrakon from the dossier of Patermouthios sidêrourgos, and the second is a Coptic receipt with the apê Markos. The last note talks about a Coptic receipt with the apê Markos.

Keywords: apê Markos; chronological systems; Klaas Worp; late antique Egypt; Patermouthios sidêrourgos
