Chapter Summary

This index section presents list of terms that occur in this book The Hundred Years War (Part II). The book takes a fresh look at the Hundred Years War by gathering the latest scholarship on several aspects of the conflict that have not been amply studied before and several that have become ?gospel? by numerous scholarly treatments. To begin with, it too stresses the editors? belief that the Hundred Years War encompassed far more than an Anglo-French conflict to decide who would rule France, that in fact, it also influenced or was influenced by events and conflicts occurring throughout western Europe and that it is only logical to view these as part and parcel of that larger war that dominated the later Middle Ages.

Keywords: Anglo-French conflict; Hundred Years War; later Middle Ages
