Chapter Summary

This chapter discusses a volume mainly concerned with instructions on the preliminaries practices which are common to Sutras, Tantras and rDzogs chen teachings. The main work is the Akhrid bka' lung rgya mtsho (no. 156) which is one of Shardza Rinpoche's most popular and diffused text throughout Bon monasteries. The chapter first discusses a work of considerable importance for the tradition of Akhrid. It is probably the one Shardza Rinpoche taught the most frequently throughout the later part of his life, together with the preliminaries of the dMar mo mdzub tshugs cycle.
