Chapter Summary

This bibliography contains list of reference articles and books cited for this book and relevant to discussion of monograph on the life and work of Petrus van Mastricht. The entries are arranged in alphabetical order. This study deals with the post-Reformation Reformed concern for right doctrine and piety. In respect to the former, scholarship has tended to appraise the theology of the seventeenth-century Reformed orthodox era, which includes the Nadere Reformatie, Puritanism and Pietism, as rigid and polemic; i.e. an abstract doctrine with little or no regard for practical significance.
