Chapter Summary

This chapter presents a summary of contents in the first Section of the first Volume of the book The Panarion of Epiphanius of Salamis: Book I (Sects 1-46). Second Edition, Revised and Expanded. The first Section contains refutations of the twenty sects. The subject of Christ's advent is in it as well, and the confession of the truth. Out of the twenty sects, seven sects are about Judaism. So much for the authors discussion of the twenty Sects, and the sequel to them which he has given as briefly as he could: the bringing of the light of the Gospel into the world by Christ and his disciples.
