Chapter Summary

This index presents the list of names and the studies and texts for humanities history of the middle ages, which are relevant to the discussion on medieval skepticism. Everybody knows about Ancient and Early Modern skepticism, but nobody thinks that skepticism was a signifi cant problem in the Middle Ages. It is the aim of this book toshow that this is wrong and that the skeptical discussions of the Middle Ages are interesting in themselves but also of central importance for the problems of skepticism in Early Modern philosophy.
