Chapter Summary

This chapter presents a bilingual list of the seventy-two letters of Wasāʾil al-Taḥqīq wa Rasāʾil al-Tawfīq, ordered and numbered as they appear in the original Arabic manuscripts. A brief description of the content of each letter is given in English and in Arabic. In the English list, the author have used the Arabic spelling of Turkish words, such as Afandi and Basha, as they appear in the original text; however, the current names of the known Arabic and Turkish cities, towns, and places are mentioned in the letters. In the Arabic list, the author has retained the names of the cities, towns, and places as they appear in the original manuscripts.
