This appendix presents a table containing the data of frequencies of the drugs in the prescriptions for diabetes by Ibn Sīnā. Ibn Sīnās therapy for diabetes is largely aimed at fighting what he sees as the main external causes for the weakness of the patients kidneys and the kidneys propensity to draw water to themselves, that is, heat and coldness.
