Chapter Summary

This index presents a list of ancient author names of the book titled Atomism in Late Medieval Philosophy and Theology. It contains a list of recent volumes in the book series History of Science and Medicine Library. The ambition of this book is not to replace those essays in the history of medieval atomism, but to raise some new questions about the commonly accepted view of the nature of fourteenth-century atomism in particular. In this context of hesitation concerning the different possible streams of medieval atomism, physical or mathematical, the main aim of the book is to assess past and present research, focussing on the different forms taken by indivisibilist theories in the Latin West, as presented by their followers and their critics.

Keywords: indivisibilism; medieval atomism
