This front matter section of this book titled The Zoroastrian Myth of Migration from Iran and Settlement in the Indian Diaspora contains the table of contents, preface and the acknowledgement. The purpose of the book is five-fold: (i) to produce a new edition of the Persian text of the Qeṣṣe-ye Sanjan (hereafter QS) from the best and oldest manuscripts; (ii) to offer a new, literal translation into English blank verse parallel to the transcribed, romanised Persian text; (iii) to provide a detailed commentary on the text; (iv) to discuss the narrative structure of the text, and (v) to discuss the mythological and religious dimensions of what is a foundational document of Parsi Zoroastrian culture.
