Chapter Summary

This chapter talks about the Declaration of the First Latin American Evangelical Congress which was held at Bogota, Colombia, on November 21-29, 1969. According to the speaker at the Congress, the Declaration, presented to the Latin American evangelical people, is an expression of a consensus in which there is agreement on the fundamentals. But there is also room for diversity which comes from the abundant grace of God through which gifts are given to His people: diversity within unity.
