This section presents brief résumé of the panelists involved in the discussion on the changes in the Arctic environment and the law of the sea. The panel discussion was a part of the Thirty-Third Annual Conference of the Center for Oceans Law and Policy (COLP), and was convened by Satya N. Nandan. It provides an overview of changes in the Arctic Environment and the Law of the Sea under the chairmanship of Satya N. Nandan who was a principal draftsman of the 1982 Convention and subsequently was Under Secretary General for the Law of the Sea at the United Nations.
