This chapter presents a few notes to the first version of Ibn Ezra's Book of the World intended to illustrate the links between 'Olam I and 'Olam II as well as between them and other parts of Ibn Ezras scientific corpus, and to explain astrological or astronomical concepts, terms, and list a few names relevant to the discussion of the theories and techniques of historical and meteorological astrology that had accumulated from Antiquity to Ibn Ezras time, on the basis of Greek, Hindu, Persian, and Arabic sources.
