This appendix section of the book Global Civil Society in International Lawmaking and Global Governance presents the list of references global civil society and global governance. The book examines the role of global civil society (GCS) in international lawmaking within the contemporary system of global governance. The political and social science concepts of global governance and GCS have emerged in international law scholarship in relation to new understandings of the generation of rules of international law. Traditional conceptions concerning how binding rules of international law are created do not reflect realities of the influence of non-State actors.
