The Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) acceded to the Convention against Transnational Organised Crime on September 26, 2003. The Penal Law 1990 (Lao) contains general provisions relating to liability preparation, attempt, and participation in criminal offences in arts. 12, 13, and 16. From the available open-source material, it is not possible to state conclusively whether Lao PDR has implemented the Convention obligations, including relevant offences, into domestic law.
