Chapter Summary

This chapter first deals with 'Elenchus of Biblica 2005'. This regularly issued biblical bibliography remains the most complete one available. One of its chief merits is the inclusion of reviews that are indexed under the titles reviewed. The chapter then outlines a comprehensive guide to biblical and theological resources and Non-biblical electronic media. This bibliographical survey lists books on all theological disciplines, but commentaries on Old Testament and New Testament books take up most space. The bibliographical survey includes several sections that deal with digital media. Hallo's three-volume set 'The Context of Scripture', originally published in print in 1997, 2000, and 2002, is the most authoritative collection of ancient Near-Eastern and Egyptian texts relating to the Old Testament.

Keywords: Biblical exegesis; digital media; non-Biblical electronic media; Old Testament
