Chapter Summary

This chapter presents some critical notes on the cantica of Euripides' Heracles. For almost all the other plays of Euripides, and for several of Aeschylus, the author wrote on the text and metre of individual lyric passages or whole odes. In addition, he wrote extensively on issues of text, interpretation, and interpolation, in the non-lyric parts of tragedy.
