Chapter Summary

This front matter section of the book Between Hebrew and Arabic Poetry contains the table of contents and a preface. The book consists of sixteen chapters, all of which deal with the affinity between Hebrew medieval poetry in Spain and Arabic poetry. It should be singled out that, although the initial stages of medieval Hebrew poetry influenced by Arabic poetry began in the East, Spain was the main stage on which this Hebrew poetic school was shaped and where her enviable poets - in a league to themselves - once lived.
