Chapter Summary

This bibliography section presents a list of reference books and articles that are relevant to this book Experiencing the Apocalypse at the Limits of Alterity. The author started out on a premise that the text comes alive with its readers, and with an observation that for them the Apocalypse is not fixed. As most texts, once it meets its audience the Apocalypse tends to lose control over its interpretation. The author's intention has been to show, however, that even though its world is constantly re-enacted as a mental event, the text has a distinct situational relevance overarching time and the variety of readers. The focus is on the mental processes that accompany the experience of reading the Apocalypse.
