Chapter Summary

This appendix section of the book titled Bricks, Mortar and Capacity Building contains a list of SNVers. It is categorised into year, number, men, women, local, field staff and head office. A part of the SNV archives is housed at the SNV building itself but the majority is at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The archival sources provide a wealth of data on SNVs formal policies, bureaucratic changes and their political connections and offer insight into the views of ordinary SNVers and their daily lives. This book offers a chronological interpretation of SNVs history and highlights several specific processes.
