Chapter Summary

This chapter presents an overview on second speech of Lodovico Pontano against Amadeus VIII at the end of April 1438 in Latin. The transmission history of this speech is comparable with the situation realized for the first speech of Lodovico Pontano against Amadeus VIII. Also here the earliest datable Transcript serves as reference manuscript. The manuscripts Ba, Be, and K bring a largely identical text. For additions and corrections the manuscript W1 is particularly helpful. By an intense usage the marginal notes of the manuscript Ba are produced by the John of Ragusa. The original text of the chapter is in German.
