Chapter Summary

This appendix section of the book titled From Conquest to Coexistence presents the syntactical presentation of Joshua 9:1-13:7 in Hebrew language. The results of the historical reconstruction on the basis of material remains and non-biblical texts are compared to the historical truth-claims of Joshua 9:1-13:7 as a part of the historiography of Israel's settlement in Canaan, and as a result, the relation between the text's ideology and antiquarian intent is defined.
