Chapter Summary

In the remotest antiquity the whole world was covered in thick mist, and there was neither heaven nor earth. Only god E Ya and goddess Sha Ya existed. Growing bigger and bigger the two flew about freely in the infinite universe with their newly grown wings. As they grew up they were determined to create heaven and earth. First they molded four dragons out of dirt scrubbed off the hands of E Ya and the feet of Sha Ya, and then placed them in a square. Old people tell that it was due to perfect co-operation among those deities that heaven and earth finally came into existence.
